Sekka Yatsubusa

A beautiful little tree that is perfect for the small garden. It looks as if it has been cloud-pruned. Of great interest to collectors because of its flattened and fasciated terminal shoots. Buds are profuse, and seem to have no pattern, appearing at random along the stubby shoots. Dark green color with an over-shading of rusty red in the spring turns yellow and orange in the fall.
