The Variety of Japanese Maples
Acers are natural companion plants for Rhododendrons, adding some wonderful texture to a mixed garden. The pictures on this page are some of the Acer cultivars that I grow in my garden. I currently grow 64 Acers
There are hundreds more, and to learn more about them, I recommend the 3rd edition of Vertrees "Japanese Maples" as a very useful primer.
